Say thank you with a star
Thanksgiving is a good day to say the thank-you that has been waiting for years — to a teacher, a friend, a neighbor, a parent. Write it, and it becomes a star you can send to that one person, add to the shared sky, or keep for yourself. Free.
Write a thank-you starFree · no account · you decide who sees itHow it works
- Write the thank-you. Be specific: what they did, and what it changed. One sentence is enough.
- Choose who sees it. “For one person” with a private link; “Everyone in the shared sky”, in the constellation “Thank you”, after a person from Human Sky reads it; or “Only you”.
- Let it open on the day. For one person you can choose an opening date, so the words appear on Thanksgiving morning.
If you don’t know where to begin
- Thank you for…
- Because of you…
- I still remember how you…
- You probably don’t know that…
- That year, you…
What it can sound like
Mr. Alvarez, you stayed after class every Tuesday so I wouldn’t fail algebra. I became an engineer. I never told you. Thank you.An example — not a real star
Honest notes
A Human Sky star is not an astronomical object, and we do not pretend it is. It is a place for your words. It is free, there are no likes or followers, and money never buys a place in the sky. The link is the key: anyone who has it can open the star, so send it only to the person it is for.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Creating and sending a star is free, and you do not need an account.
Will other people see it?
Only if you choose the shared sky. A star “for one person” opens only through the link you send.
Can it open on Thanksgiving Day?
Yes. When you send a star to one person, choose an opening date; until then the words stay hidden.
Can they reply?
If you allow it, they can answer once with their own words — only if they want to.
Is this a real star name?
No — and no paid registry is official either. This is an honest, free alternative: your words, shown as a star.
